Engagement

TRACE participates and leads a variety of initiatives in support of our work and broader goals

TRACE Initiatives

Capital Modern

Capital Modern is an online resource dedicated to chronicling buildings and sites within Canada’s Capital Region…for better or worse. The resource’s goal is to create an awareness of buildings and sites from this period, as they represent a significant portion of our region’s infrastructure. Their retention and evolved use expect to play a major role in the area’s future.

TRACE Involvement

Founding partner Mark Thompson Brandt is a Co-Founder of the ZNCC and dedicates time to maintaining TRACE’s involvement in the organization.

With many active APT members, our studio continues to stay involved with APT International. Chances of running into one of our team members at the APT annual conference are high!

Carleton University

As an industry partner, TRACE continues to collaborate with Carleton University, including contributing to various Mitacs Accelerate grants for student fellowships. We deeply value learning from our student hires and continue to stay involved in our local university through research opportunities and participation as panel guest critics.
