MTBA Principal Mark Brandt and Senior Associate Chris Warden will be presenting at the upcoming NCC Urbanism Lab on May 7, 2015 on Conserving the Modern.
Mark will be speaking on the recent thought evolution in the area of conserving the modern in addition to upcoming initiatives. This includes Building Resilience, the sustainable conservation companion document to the Standards and Guidelines for the Conservation of Historic Places in Canada.
Chris will be speaking about the web site he started, that is now an office initiative, capitalmodern.ca. The presentation is an introduction to the site, its origins, scope, content and future direction.
